Industry Weapon Hires International Award-Winning Marketing Communications Writer, Ethan Jameson



Pittsburgh, PA., Date 14, 2012 - After a lengthy and thorough search, Industry Weapon, the innovative media technology developer for devices such as digital signage, mobile devices and IP telephony, announced today that they have proudly hired international award-winning marcom writer Ethan Jameson.

As Industry Weapon started experiencing exponential growth, the need for a talented, creative writer became critical. After months of scouring resumes and asking nationally for recommendations for a writer of superior talent, the company's and Jameson's path happened to cross, as though it were karma.

Jameson, an opinionated South African national and perfect candidate for the position, joins Industry Weapon with over a decade's copywriting and branding experience at some of the world's top creative ad agencies. He began his writing career at TBWAHuntLascaris - ranked the "World's 10th Most Creative Agency" by AdAge in the year he joined - in South Africa.

Tenures at the likes of Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, Y&R, and AKQA followed in cities as diverse as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg and San Francisco. During this time, Jameson's talent gained recognition and picked up awards from the London International Advertising Festival, New York Festivals, Cannes International Advertising Festival, the Eagle Print Awards and Loerie Awards.

Jameson has also served on the judging panels of both the Summit International Awards and the Spokane Advertising Federation.

The outspoken young writer's category and brand experience spans the gamut, from Volvo to Visa, SPAR Supermarkets to Gulf Air and Zippo, so he is expected to take to writing for the tech industry like a duck takes to water. Industry Weapon is thrilled - and fortunate - to have him on board.
